Peters Village: Phase 2 plans

Detailed plans (TMBC planning reference no.15/00998/RM) for 157 more properties on the 1,000-home Peters Village development have been submitted to Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, which has already approved details of the 152 homes for Phase 1 of the scheme.
A decision on the second phase, which includes 65 of the first affordable housing stock on Peters Village, is expected by mid July.
Trenport Director Chris Hall said: “Phase 2 is a significant move towards creating and integrating a whole new community into this east bank of the Medway area, because young families in the neighbouring villages of Burham, Eccles and Wouldham – anxious to get on the first rung of the housing ladder – will now be more able to remain in the district rather than look for property options further afield. Older residents looking to downsize may also now find it easier to stay local.”
